GU M.D. @ 7:30pm
A television first for Guam, GU M.D. is a 30-minute medical magazine, produced by Lotus Media Services for FOX6. On GU M.D., doctors are approachable, not high priests. They’re textured personalities with rock star potential. Medicine is not brain numbing, not cerebral, not big-yawn clinical. No. Medicine pulsates! We feel its power, its electricity, its promise in our gut, on a personal level. GU M.D.’s subjects are characters that jump through the
television set in well-told, powerfully-photographed stories, even more than they are doctors, nurses, medical technicians and service providers, health policy wonks and patients.
GU M.D. asserts that quality medicine is not just about science or technology. It’s about lifestyle: it improves our lives and gives us hope. GU M.D. channels that positive lifestyle, entertaining and captivating viewers with a balance of personable humor, gold-nugget storytelling, and rich photography about medicine on Guam.
GU M.D. is: stories that convey the passion, commitment, growing resources and ingenuity of Guam’s physicians and healthcare experts. Stories that uncover and spotlight all that is positive, new and “fresh” about medicine and the medical community on Guam. Its producers are driven by the dual-philosophy that positive attracts positive, and entertainment -- as a vehicle for information and education -- really packs a punch!
