CLASS IS BACK IN SESSION ON “ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5TH GRADER” SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 24, ON FOX - AIRING ON A SPECIAL DAY AND TIME - WEST COAST ONLY
Unlike the typical game show that measures intelligence, ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5th GRADER tests adults’ lack of knowledge – as revealed by how much they’ve forgotten since elementary school. New grownup contestants will again find themselves in a classroom setting, revisiting their youth, as they tackle subjects they’ve already been taught, ranging from art to geography and math to social studies. However, the players are not alone. There is a way for contestants to “cheat” in this classroom. The adults will have the opportunity to get some help from real grade-schoolers, who will offer what they think is the correct a-n-s-w-e-r on tonight’s episode of ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5th GRADER Sunday, Feb. 24 (7:00-8:00 PM PT) on FOX. Homer wakes up one morning only to find himself outdoors and covered with snow. With no recollection of what happened the night before, aside from a lingering hangover, Homer makes his way home only to find his entire family missing. Hopelessly confused, Homer makes his way to Moe’s bar, where Moe reveals that Homer drank a “Forget-Me-Shot” the night before – a drink is so potent, it wipes out a the last 24 hours of one’s memory. When Wiggum informs Homer of a domestic disturbance at his house the night before, Homer begins to worry that he may have done something awful. As he probes his cloudy memory to unravel the mystery, Homer turns to Professor Frink, who hooks him up to a device that allows him to explore his memories, and he interacts with his Memory Family to piece together the night’s events in the “Eternal Moonshine of the Simpson Mind” episode of THE SIMPSONS Sunday, Feb. 24 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. The frightfest begins in “Mr. and Mrs. Simpson” as Homer and Marge leave for what appears to be an ordinary day. When a mysterious woman blocks Homer’s shot and tries to kill Brockman herself, Homer finds that his competition “hits” a little too close to home. In “E.T. Go Home,” Bart and Lisa come to the aid of Kodos the space alien, who’s hiding from the government. Kodo asks them to help him obtain a long list of devices so he can reconnect with his home planet, but his intentions prove to be anything but friendly. In the final Halloween scare, “Heck House,” Bart, Lisa and their friends spend Halloween night pulling pranks on unsuspecting people in Springfield. But when they go too far, Flanders decides he’s going to spook them straight. When Peter convinces Brian to move in with his dense girlfriend Jillian (Drew Barrymore), she ends up smothering him, but he keeps her around for the lovin’. Stewie moves in with them to help pay the rent, but he tries to get Brian back on the playing field by throwing him a drunken party and interfering with their relationship. Meanwhile, Meg gets a job at the local convenience store, as does Chris, who gets chummy with the manager, Carl. While Chris and Carl talk about their favorite movies, Meg is saddled with all the hard work. She eventually stands up for herself and as a result gets fired in the “Movin’ Out (Brian’s Song)” episode of FAMILY GUY airing Sunday, Feb. 24 (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
